EXSIF Worldwide, Inc announces upgrade of electronic document imaging system (EDOCS)

On November 12, 2007 EXSIF Worldwide, Inc will release a new version of their “EDOCS” document imaging system. This system currently contains approx 700,000 key tank specific documents which can be accessed 24 hours a day via the EXSIF Worldwide website. As the leader in the tank leasing industry, EXSIF Worldwide strives to provide its customers and business partners with the most up to-date information regarding tank equipment. Transition to the new website will be seamless for current users, as the link will be changed at the time of deployment. For new users, access is just a click away. Based on 5 years of experience and feedback from EXSIF Worldwide customers and business partners globally, the system has been upgraded to result in a more efficient search engine with improved access to the extensive document database. The search capabilities have been upgraded to allow access to all documents associated with specific tanks, simply based on the mark and unit number. In addition, the searches have been modified to allow search by document type and will find all historical documents relating to units that have gone through EXSIF Worldwide refurbishment and remanufacturing programs.

Approved depots will now be able to retrieve tank specification and technical documents for tanks off-hired at their locations by using the enhanced search engine. In the past, purchase order information was required for these searches but no longer. This search criteria change will also help EXSIF Worldwide personnel access information quicker and more accurately for our customers and business partners. In the future we are planning on adding on-hire surveys and a simplified tank testing approval process as part of the new data imaging system.
