EXSIF Worldwide, Inc. Strengthens Its Management in Asia/Pacific

EXSIF Worldwide, Inc.’s continuing leadership in the Asia/Pacific market is further enhanced by a significant strengthening of its senior management team in this region.

As the size of the global tank market grows, EXSIF Worldwide, Inc. is committed to a strong regional business base that gives customers the comfort and confidence of dealing with a local group who are fully attuned to their particular needs. It is this attention to customer service that has prompted these moves.

Andrew Evans, Vice President Marketing, currently based in the Purchase, NY Headquarters office will move to the EXSIF Worldwide, Inc. Singapore Regional Office to take up the position of Managing Director Asia/Pacific region. “I am delighted to have been asked to take up this appointment,” he explains. “For some considerable time I have worked with many of the companies and staff in the region, so the opportunity to be there first hand is exciting. An essential part of my role is to expand our presence in the region, which offers considerable market growth for our business.” Andrew’s extensive career in the container industry started with NYK in 1970 and he retains many contacts in Tokyo and the Far East from those days.

In an associated move, Robert Clarke takes up the position of Director in China, based in Shanghai. Robert, who is presently based in Singapore, has considerable experience in the industry and particularly in Asia. He will prove a major asset to EXSIF Worldwide, Inc.’s business in China. Robert is fluent in Chinese, French and Russian. In responding to this new challenge he said: "The opportunities for business growth in China are significant and I see it as both a pleasure and a challenge to be able to direct our business in this extensive market. With a new tank factory in Shanghai due to be completed shortly and the country’s tank depot network expanding we can foresee a quickening in the pace of tank container growth in the area.” EXSIF Worldwide, Inc., in association with its local agent, now has three local offices in China, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Shanghai, with a fourth due to open soon."

In the Asia/Pacific region EXSIF Worldwide, Inc. has four sales offices and seven sales agent offices with full regional operational, technical and commercial service available to each group and all customers.
